The weather doesn't look great for tomorrow, but it is Florida so it could be sunny or rainy. Or occasionally both. It should be nice an humid though so the Raptor and Growlers should get some nice vapes. A couple of bummers, I guess the F-22 will be staging from Patrick Air Force Base. At least, that's where they are now. I do enjoy seeing them take off and land. The other bummer is that Chuck Aaron will not be attending.
This will be my last airshow until late October, so I hope it's a good one!

I attended the Saturday show and came away highly disappointed. Probably my least favorite show. Having said that, the flying that was there was great (with an exception or two).
The not so good stuff:
1. Chuck Aaron did not attend, and I'm not sure why. He was on the website up until about Wednesday.
2. F-86 Sabre didn't fly (don't know if it was there or not, but Doug Matthews did fly the S.211 Marchetti which was also on the flying list)
3. Only 1 Growler flew for the Legacy Flight and mini-demo. No vapes on the high speed pass which was quite unexpected. (I thought 2 Growlers usually flew, but maybe I'm wrong).
4. The 2 A-10s from Moody AFB flew together, pretty high, for 3 straight and level passes. I know it's not the demo team, but was hoping for a bit more than a flyby. Honestly, if the show's website would have just said A-10 flybys, I would have known what to expect.
5. In previous shows, the smaller (non-military) planes taxied and took off from the smaller runway in front of the crowd. Maybe there was some issue with the runway that I'm unaware of, but I missed seeing the performers taxiing. The other part of that is that the performers would often come up and down the crowd line talking with guests. We missed that kind of interaction.
The good stuff:
1. Raptor demo didn't disappoint and got some good vapes
2. Buck Roetman (1st time seeing him perform) was really good
3. S211 Marchetti demo was pretty cool - 1st time seeing that one
4. Always nice seeing WW2 planes like C-47 & B-25
5. John Black in his Super Decathlon always puts on a good show
Pictures to follow later.
