Here's hoping they find a way to combine the drive-in format with a static display!

Best of both worlds!

Regardless, I'm sure the show will be awesome like the past years' demonstrations!

Waiting with baited breath for tickets to come on sale... (that's supposed to be eyes bugging from holding my breath)

It has killed me missing the past two years. The line ups were great, particularly 2020 (Great work made that happen but unrealistic to ever expect the like again).

That said, I do hope they figure out how to bring back a static display. I rather enjoy touring the static, and well each static is another opportunity for some arrival and departure shenanigans (Cleetus etc etc).

Fully vaccinated, now with a booster in the offing I am hoping to make the 2022 show whichever the format.

Looks like London will be the drive- in format once again in 2022.

Not the decision I wanted, but I can completely understand the rationale. Proven track record and best chance of surviving any protocol changes should the pandemic continue to negatively evolve.

Will be curious to what variations they add.

I would call the past couple years a success, however I do miss not having a static display.

EXCITING UPDATES FROM ICAS✈️

Airshow London has received the 2021 ICAS Platinum Pinnacle Award for excellence in the air show business in the “mid-sized civilian air show” category, presented at the 2021 ICAS - International Council of Air Shows convention. 🏆🎖

The ICAS Pinnacle Awards recognize the ideas and professional execution that are essential for the continuous sustainability and improvement of the air show industry. The awards fall into seven categories that reflect professionalism, innovation, and overall excellence in air show operations and management.

We received this award as a result of SkyDrive, our innovative drive-in style show that has helped shape new industry standards and has been a safe, sell-out, family event for two years, through challenging times in the air show industry.

🚨 IN ADDITION....

We are also excited to share three confirmations announced at ICAS, for SKYDRIVE 2022. September 9-11, 2022 will be headlined by...

✈️ Canadian Forces Snowbirds
✈️ F-22 Raptor Demo Team
✈️ Canadian Forces CF18 Demo Team

Tickets available at airshowlondon.com
