Friday Night Flights on the Aug. 28 has been cancelled, although I don't know why. Friday Night Flights on the Aug. 21 and Sept. 11 are still a go.

The SNV-1 will not be flying on Aug. 21, but it is still pending for the Sept. 11.

On Friday August 21st the Yankee air museum held it's first of two Donation Airshows. This was available to museum members only and was limited to 40 cars maximum to be in compliance. The flying was to start at 6pm so I knew the light would be choice. Here's what flew: Stearman, 2 O2 Skymasters, P51B Old Crow (haven't seen that one in a few years), the Museum's new Huey, C47, B25 and B17. It was great to be out in the field and to return to some sense of normalcy if only for a while.

I thought it was a nice night. Short, sweet, to the point. Commentary was somewhat optional being broadcast over FM instead of speakers. No lulls except where planes were turning around. Front row seats for everyone and plenty of space from what I saw. It looked like the people who turned out were very happy with it.
I think it'd be nice to do it a little later in the evening when the sun is lower but that's just me.
I see you in there somewhere!

Great pictures @Yankee Doodle. Hope they get some more aircraft for Sept. 11.

Great video!
I am curious if they are going to add some more aircraft for September 11.
