One of our Vegas Military spotters in our Southwest Spotting Region group chat on social media, confirmed that dates for Red Flag 21-1 at Nellis AFB will be January the 25th to February the 12th of 2021.

Ugh, I really wanted to get to an early Red Flag but I'm not particularly comfortable flying out there yet. I'm jealous of the folks who have any sort of military aviation within driving distance!

Any info regarding units/aircraft or participating foreign countries?

No confirmation yet, Nellis tends to not really release any information until the last minute, but foreign countries to my knowledge its probably comprised of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) or in general mainly European Countries such as Germany, Royal Netherlands, United Kingdom, and etc... However for the U.S Air Force units, 20 Joint Base Elmendorf–Richardson F-22 Raprors will be operating in and out of the base and something else interesting is the B-2's now will be operating in and out of Nellis as well from what I was told by our group chat memberDan Gagnon wrote: ↑Fri Jan 15, 2021 6:36 amAny info regarding units/aircraft or participating foreign countries?

Haha, don't worry there's still Red Flag 21-2 & 21-3 you can still come out too if things clear up, as you already know.
Same hear, could've said no more, Im also jealous of the residents that live nearby, same thing for our Vegas spotters in our group chat, they get the fun stuff out at Nellis. For myself, I have to drive 4 hours from my hometown just to get to Vegas, but Im use to since we use to travel up there almost occasionally for the fun stuff out there, I was thinking about flying there for this year, but yeah your right it's not worth it with the travel restrictions in place, but still, I'm traveling out there for 21-1 its just the drive will be a pain. You know, not very confrable sitting in a car for hours, but its probably worth it.

Yeah, I guess you and I are in the same boat here in Southeastern Michigan
So far, the only military I have seen since 2019 was at Selfridge for Airshow London. We need something here to keep me sane!

Wait in Michigan? So you're saying you guys have almost little to no activity that goes on over in your aera? Man, that must be pretty boring, very contrasted from the area I'm in, we just tend to have more activity that goes on down here than almost any other state, but really to have nothing flying for months that must suck, hopefully, TOM will start their show up soon, so you will probably have an event to enjoy or some nearby flying event.RyanS wrote: ↑Fri Jan 15, 2021 7:23 pmI do tend to get usernames confused but I didn't realize you were right down the road! Living five minutes from TOM is a bit of a treat, especially when the Blues come buzzing 200ft over head and I can just watch it from the confort of my home!Nick wrote: ↑Fri Jan 15, 2021 8:18 pm
