Robbie Skipton doesn't just fly these monster radio controlled aircraft, he also designs and builds them from scratch.

Our first flight with the new Eachine F-16 on a 3S1800 pack. Good turn of speed and flies fast OK although slow flight characteristics would be so much better with an all moving tailplane. Remaining capacity on this flight allowed us to up the second flight to nearly 4.5 minutes. Decent for an EDF powered jet.

Each built from scratch and flown in close formation without any fear. These are skilled builders and pilots putting on a great show for the public.

Walking around the Southampton International Boat Show after filming some large RC powerboats in action and I stumbled across the trade stand for Swellpro. A manufacturer of multirotor aircraft/drone for the marine industry. Didn't know waterproof drones existed! They can take off and land on water and survive full immersion. Makes them suitable for many more applications that your typical drone. Dan of Swellpro UK gave me a quick intro.

HSD jets Me-262. Considering it's EDF it flies very nicely.

Star Wars X-Wing? About as close as you can get I think! This is my latest flight with the Swan\H-Wing Pro after some viewers had asked for closer up look at the transmitter and it's functionality. Really very easy to fly. The only improvement I would make is being able to fly with FPV goggles. Would not be difficult to retrofit DJI FPV. Maybe something I'll do over Winter.

Superb scratch built A-10 flown at recent Large Model Association Elvington Show.

First test flight of my FPV enabled turbine sport jet. Without really trying got up to 237mph and 1200ft. Speed and altitude telemetry displayed in the video. Learnt a lot and a few improvements to be made on our next outing. Have included a short look at the GPS data in Google Earth at the end.

Design inspired by a 1:72 scale Airfix kit and powered by 2 45N turbine engines. An amazing scratch built F-4 Phantom.

These guys have been practicing their formation flying for a long time. That's how they got so good at this.
They are flying Bill Hempel Clipped Wing Cubs. These radio controlled aircraft have a wing span of 18 feet (216 inches) and are designed for the 3W-275cc engine but Azza and Sonny used the ZDZ 420B4-J. The weight is approximately 94-96 pounds.
