What were they bringing?

The official website for the show has some new additions as well, Stryker demo and MH-47.

For those who can't make it to this year's show, it will be livestreamed by LiveAirshowTV.

Does anyone who has been to this show before have any recommendations on parking? Debating about whether to try to get on base or whether it might just be easier to take one of the shuttles. The Lakewood Station shuttle looks like it would be easiest of the remote parking options. There are obvious pros and cons to the shuttles versus parking, just wondering if anyone has had any past experience.

I'd rather park on base if isn't going to be a hassle because I'd like to walk over to the airpark to see the B-23, B-18 and C-124 before leaving. I just don't want to wait in line to park for hours and then be told sorry, we're out of parking, go to one of the remote lots. Planning to arrive to the area by 8 a.m. since gates open at 9.

Any help appreciated!

Absolutely take the shuttles. Parking is a continuous nightmare year after year. The queue often stretches onto the I-5 shoulder (not a great spot to be in) and takes hours to enter and exit. The shuttle was quick, easy, and reliable. I take the one from the station near the Tacoma Dome.

Thanks for the helpful reply! I'll be driving up from south of the base, so I think the shuttle from the Old State Farm Building might be the best option for me. I'd really like to see the aircraft at the base museum, but spending the most amount of time possible at the show and getting on/off base easily is way more important. Glad to hear the shuttle service is well run. Shuttles can be a cluster at other shows I've been to.

Regarding the shuttle option, is the security check at the pick up location or on base? Would hate to take the shuttle to the base and have security arbitrarily inform you your bag isn't allowed in or some such thing....has happened in the past, at least if you're parked close by it isn't too big a deal.
