Ouch - and no Typhoon either. Pure speculation on my part but I wouldn't be surprised to see Clacton becomes another victim of the Red Arrows tour and cancels altogether.

No - for two reasons. One being that I saw the original version of that press release yesterday and came to the opinion above after having read it. And the other being that "would not be surprised" ≠ "think it is the most likely scenario" and certainly it doesn't indicate any endorsement of a cancellation! I think it is a plausible outcome, though.

Although admittedly, a better question to ask first would have been: how many of the typical 250,000 spectators will attend with no Reds and no Typhoon? In that respect, this could be a very interesting experiment.
