I'm wondering if this show is going on this year...they typically get the A-10 every year at least. Last year they had the A-10 and Growlers. I see no demo team scheduled.

It's on the Dacy site too, just no civilian performers listed yet. Usually, at least a few civilian performers are known by now. I'm wondering whether this is one is going to happen this year. I've been to it a few times in years they haven't had demo teams and it's just the WHF aircraft, civilian performers (mostly acts represented by Dacy) and a few visiting warbirds/vintage jets.

Growing more pessimistic about this one. I noticed it is no longer on the Dacy site, which is not promising as they usually provide sound services and a lot of the civilian performers. It would be a real shame if it didn't happen. The WHF aircraft plus a few civilian aerobatic performers are enough for a good show.

Someone told me that Freeport will be beefing up their line up to include more military in the coming years

That's great news! I've had my eye on that one, but for what it is right now it's a little far for a one-day trip for me. Future military participation would change that.

I'm not sure what's going on with Waukegan. If they're going biennial, I wish they would just announce it to manage expectations and make planning easier.
