With the F-35B cancelling out of the couple shows already, MCAS Cherry Point and St Louis, is this a trend? Worrying about Oshkosh.

In short, yes it is a trend. The Marines initially released a small schedule at ICAS with a number of extra 'alternate' sites that were unlikely to get a demo. Then they unexpectedly said even the alternates were good to go. Now they are reportedly having trouble meeting all of those commitments and some shows are being cut. OF course, some are waiting to announce the cancellation until more tickets have been sold.

Which shows are cut is not known just yet

I remember the initial show list being short and then all alternates were included. Do you know if EAA was an alternate site?

Well, here's hoping it doesn't get axed. And maybe EAA is big enough it won't.
