Looks like the B-2 was removed. Disappointing, but not unexpected especially given the current happenings in Ukraine. I'm still looking forward to the show.

Anyone else planning on going to this show? I'm not sure which day I will attend. The long range forecast looks pretty good for either day. I'm just trying to remember what time I left to get there for the 2018 show.

Plenty of Blue Angels ground show. Would have liked more F-22 Team ground show.

Just found out that this weekend will be the last time MacDill AFB hosts an airshow for the next few years as the base will be undergoing construction.

Just found out that this weekend will be the last time MacDill AFB hosts an airshow for the next few years as the base will be undergoing construction.

Well that sucks.

We went in yesterday and had a great time. The flying was fantastic, plus a lot of cool statics that I don't see often at other shows here in Florida. I haven't had the chance to review pictures yet, but hopefully I'll have some later today. The bad thing for us was that the traffic to leave was HORRIBLE. We even left midway through the Blue Angels. FYI, all 6 flew, but their timing was off during several maneuvers, including the sneak passes.

It took us 3 hours to get off the base. Apparently, there was an accident at the exit that was preventing everyone from leaving until it was cleaned up. Also, the base reached capacity from what I heard. Other than that, things went smoothly from parking to security to the flying displays.
