2017 Abbotsford International Airshow
ICAS site now lists Pete McLeod as a performer this year, as well as the Heritage Flight Foundation. Don't know what they'd bring but this F-86 "demo/heritage flight" would be the likely candidate.

To my knowledge, Hertiage Flight Museum are bringing the A-1 Skyraider and P-51D "Val Halla" to the show. Not sure about anything else from their collection at this point however.
Edit: Realized you were referring to the AFHFF. That would make a little bit more sense in regards to the F-86.
Cheers,
Hawk

According to the Viper Demo team, The Heritage fight will be minus the F-86 meaning it will only have the F-35, P-51 and F-16. I hope this is not the case but it was on the demo teams Facebook page.

That is interesting that the F-86 isn't part of the Heritage Flight. I wonder if it will be doing a solo demo instead? It would be nice to see the AFHFF F-86 in formation with the Vampire that's coming. I'm sure something is in the works and we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
On a side note, those of you who live in Abbotsford might have heard some warbird noise yesterday. A T-6 and A-1 Skyraider, I believe both from HFM, were at CYXX and did a few nice formation passes.

Yeah. I was really let down when I saw that but a Vampire with the F-86 would be nice to see.
For those that are after different tails, it looks like the KC-135 will be from the Alabama ANG as there as been one supporting the F-16 demo team.

It seems like at this point the Skyhawks jump aircraft will likely be the Buffalo. I have also heard some rumours of some interesting unmentioned static aircraft that may be attending this year but I'll leave it for those with more knowledge to officially announce.

If the Buffalo's troubles continue then the SkyHawks will jump from a CC-130.

I remember they used to jump out of the C-17. I guess they can't do that if a C-17 isn't here, but we'll see. It has been the C-130 for the past years, which still is pretty cool. The airshow website is slow at putting stuff up, could be because they are waiting for more announcements.

The Buff has been down as of late due to tech problems. There's a CC-130H at YQQ doing the job of the buff atm.cf18hornet wrote: ↑Thu May 18, 2017 7:21 pmWhat troubles are you referring too??theairshowdude wrote: ↑Thu May 18, 2017 6:30 am If the Buffalo's troubles continue then the SkyHawks will jump from a CC-130.
