Should be at least 5xF16s and I am hearing possibly another F-35 coming so that would bring that up to x4Frenetic Enigma wrote: ↑Tue Aug 08, 2017 6:00 am
Awesome info! Thanks as always, iceman! Err, I mean Bingofuel.
By my count, that means we should see Snowbirds, 3xF-35, at least 5xCF-18, at least 4xF-16, 2xF-15, 2xA-10, the F-86, and a trainer or two. A few heavies, and some assorted warbirds. Missing a bomber, but maybe a last minute surprise?
And thanks again for the approx. times (and any updates): makes it easier to plan the timing of my drive from Vancouver.

So is the twilight show still a go? It probably will, but what i'm concerned about is the smoke and dryness from the heat effecting the wall of fire, and fireworks.

Yes the 3 F-35's I mentioned are the ones already long confirmed. As far as I know the static F-16's will be Oklahoma guys between their demo. They get towed into the static area when they're not flying. So 4 total F-16's..again, as far as I know. Might have changed lately.
There will be no wall of fire or bomb bursts this year. No pyrotechnics, except maybe fireworks I think are still a go.
KC-135 coming loooks to be from March ARB. A-10's from Davis Monthan AFB

Thank you from clearing that up. I was hoping there would be 3 bases but still happy to see the OK birds here.Bingofuel wrote: ↑Tue Aug 08, 2017 1:24 pm Yes the 3 F-35's I mentioned are the ones already long confirmed. Abbotsfords Facebook page just posted about 4 F-35s coming. So 2 Dutch for static and 2 USAF flying I presume.

According to a rare post on the Facebook page, "two pairs of F-35s" are expected. This was buried within a post about the smoke, the volunteers, and craft beer.
