Any idea on practice times for the A-10 and Thunderbirds? (AKA... the whole air show)?
I see the times for when the air space is shut down, just trying to get a better idea as to if the A-10 will be in that morning block or not.

Not sure on details except the Tbirds will fly during their normal show time so probably 3 or 4ish. Normally I would get there in time for practice to start, but with just the two big acts (one for sure going at the end) it's really not worth a 6am wakeup. I am going to get to town around noon and chance that the A-10 flies after that. If not, no huge deal.

I just picked up the Thunderbirds refueling with a KC-10 over Colorado en route to Cleveland on Flightradar24. Didn't know you could track the Thunderbirds.

Thunderbirds got here late and flew a modified site survey until they ran out of gas. Strange to see them so far behind!
Statics in so far are two A-10s, two KC-135s (?), P-8 Poseidon, B-25 Georgie's Gal, two or three T-6 Texan IIs, C-130 from Youngstown, Chinook, and Blackhawk.
Interesting to note the Voinovich Park pier was totally open today. Usually it is blocked off. Would have been an awesome spot if I had noticed sooner!

The tentative schedule was posted earlier today. The morning block should be interesting with four acts over 2 hours. The remainder of the schedule looks decent and reminds me of a typical Cleveland show.

Great day to have a good friend with a boat. Thought I would post photos early in lieu of always being last.

Waited around and did a little fishing after the Thunderbirds left. Got to see these guys show up.

Sadly a pretty forgettable year for CNAS. Hopefully just a blip - they really suffered from the last minute cancellations and skipping last year surely didn't help. However, it really highlights how much the show just repeats from year to year and how that is getting less enticing with time. Very disappointed that the Navy couldn't show up in the flying schedule.
This is the first show in memory where I was more focused on talking to people than what was flying. Even my friends (who have been far more airshow starved than I) were kind of ready to get home and move on to other things. I guess it is telling that I am writing this from home even as the show is going on, lol. Still a great chance to spend time with friends in a nice city.
The Thunderbirds cut their routine a bit short each day, presumably due to remote staging but I don't recall that being the case in previous years. At one point Boss called a left turn for the Delta Roll then corrected it to a right turn to Delta Burst. They skipped the roll and loop. I have only seen them at remote shows so far so not sure if this is part of the new routine or not.
