As many of our readers will be well aware, Avro Lancaster B.VII NX611 Just Jane is under restoration to airworthy condition with the Lincoln Aviation Heritage Center at former RAF East Kirkby in Lincolnshire, England. The Mid America Flight Museum’s B-17G (44-85718/N900RW), better known as Thunderbird, remains under heavy maintenance at the Erickson Aircraft Collection in Madras, Oregon. We recently received a status update and further details for what the future may hold for this significant aircraft.
