Cleveland National Air Show 2023

After the show on Monday, we were able to boat over and sit right next to the runway to capture a couple of departures. For the last couple of years, I've been trying to get some shots with the city in the background and the angles just usually don't work out. I was pretty happy that things lined up just right this year!

Attended the show on the Sunday. Harrier and seeing the Raptor flare dump again definitely the highlights for me. Disappointed I didn't get to see the F-15s as their low-passes were pretty awesome to see at last years show, but overall pretty decent show as always. Thought the Pittsburgh C-17 looked pretty good with the invasion strips.

Attended this on Sunday only. Nice statics (Stripy C-17, VX-9 F/A-18Fs, AV-8B the stand outs for me). The AV-8B Demo was the main attraction as it was probably my last chance to see one and was worth the entrance fee alone, the F/A-18F & F-22 demos were great, F-22 especially with the flares, also really liked the C-130H. Disappointed with the LA ANG F-15 no show and the KC-135 'refuelling demo' was a massive oversell, but the flying overall was great and seemed really close to the crowdline. Really good show, would definitely go again.
