The first couple of days at any trade show are generally the busiest - but day 1 of Dubai was exceptional! The display featured some great rarities from across the world, but this year some interesting visitors from Asia in particular. Their displays perhaps lack the sophistication of the their western counterparts but it is fascinating to sees some very different shapes in the sky. The F-15QA Ababil is the standout highlight of the flying so far in the hands of Boeing experimental test pilot Jason 'Mongoose' Dotter - the tail slide finale certainly caught the eye! A few highlights from Day 1 below...
