According to a Facebook comment reply on the show's page, the KC-135 might be accompanied by a c17 in its refueling demo. I'm not sure if they're referring to the one that was on static (which isn't on the static list on the website anymore oddly enough) and the person who is running the page got confused or not.

Yeah, I just saw that. To be honest, I'm not sure what to expect other than what is currently on the website. They've been good about all of them showing up, but they often have extra stuff that was never on the website. It'll be a surprise.

Saw the Twilight demo. Some notes:

- I think I'm still in shock from the pictures I got...Growlers went first then the F-22. Was a stunning performance.

- I think the Growler colorbird had a maintenance issue or emergency upon landing since it was attended by firetrucks...hopefully it's back up by tomorrow.

- F-22 staged from somewhere else. Didn't see the F-16 either but I saw it practice. Maybe the alleged F-35B is also staging elsewhere? Didn't see it practice but I was also busy trying to get FedEx to find out where my camera rental has gone off to (still have my personal camera, and LensRental is chill about these kinds of things, so no real worries)

- A AC-130J dropped in last minute for static display, conveniently just in time for some pics of it landing.

- For sure saw a TBM and Corsair for warbirds, I would expect both to fly.

- C-17 was parked at an odd location sooooo maybe it is also gonna partake in that refueling demo? Also, maybe ignore me.

- humidity made for legendary vapes.

- I was worried about haze, weather and performer proximity for pics...if today's practice and twilight show were any indication, none of that will be an issue. Hopefully the r word stays away (unpredictable Florida weather), because the performance were very in your face. Even facing south, I'm very hopeful for tomorrow and Saturday.

An EPIC twilight show, that's for sure. The Growlers may be my favorite act. The Growlers & Raptor vapes were awesome! Going back for the day show on Sunday.

Notes from the day show:

- no F-35B, I'm afraid
- C-17 did a full demo, and while the KC-135 showed up for the refueling demo, it only did a few passes, not a full on demo.
- The TBM flew but it was far away and didn't really lend itself to photos.
- Whatever happened to the EA-18G colorbird Friday night is still broken. Growler demo was only a one ship. (Although tbh that may be a good thing as you only have to keep track of one!)

Overall good show. Debating go back tomorrow or finding a place just outside the Airfield that'l lends itself to better lighting.

Thanks for the report! I hope they can get the Growler fixed. The 2-ship on Friday was great. Yeah, my only complaint about this show is the viewing direction.

A long, rather warm day but it was a great airshow. The only slight disappointment for me was the single-ship Growler Demo. It's still cool, but having the 2-ship is what makes it so awesome.

All together it was about 4 straight hours of flying. I've got a bunch of pictures to go through, so I probably won't post any until tomorrow. Attached is a copy of the schedule from today.

I think the Saturday show lent itself to a little better lighting (well, relatively speaking), however at the same time I also spent all of Saturday begging for the sun to go behind the clouds so I wouldn't suffer from heatstroke. To be honest when the tacdemo teams weren't performing, I went and hid in the shade of a trailer, and I generally consider myself to be in shape!

I tried a different location outside of the show for some better pics, I'll post those when I get to them in the editing queue...here's some Twilight demo pics in the meantime.

Also, I was able to catch the Growler Demo team during their practice outside the field and got some decent shots from that:

Edit: *sigh*...how does one get pictures to actually show?
