What a great practice day! A couple of standout highlights:

The Polish C-130 display now consists of 7 manoeuvres, one of which involves flares, up from three flare-less manoeuvres last year. And it's very good indeed. They really chuck it around. It'll also be doing its mega flare dump after sunset, but that wasn't rehearsed today.


I thought I knew the Slovenian PC-9 solo, having seen it at several large shows like RIAT, and even there, it's very good indeed. But at a smaller venue, it's on a whole other level. Phenomenal! And look at that sunset!

The Royal Jordanian Falcons kicked off today's practices at 8:30 this morning, and practices continue through until 13:30. Then, for 2hrs the airfield is turned over to the 13 Wilgas, who will perform a mass flight. The flying display proper starts at 15:30 and runs until 23:00. That's over 14 hours of flying to enjoy! It's going to be a long day.

WHAT A DAY! Leszno is, quite simply, the best airshow on earth.

Some quick highlights:

The PC-7 Team have taken advantage of slow pilot turnover to completely redesign their show this year. It's packed with new manoeuvres such as this one, called Rolling Dice.


Super Puma + sunset + flares = epicness.


C-130 flare dump, no further comments needed.

Tiger Demo Team's new display pilot, Slab, performs a much tighter routine than the team were flying previously.
