Is this show just supposed to be flyovers or will the F-35B actually be doing a demo?

In the past, it has just been a flyover...and a tad weak. Many of the aircraft came from their home base so not much was going on at Martin Sate Airport.
That said, I wonder too if the F-35B will do a hover demo. I am imagining it right in the inner harbor with the buildings in the background. I doubt it would have the safety margins for that but I can dream

I honestly think there's a chance this could be cancelled because of the Key Bridge collapse and the subsequent cleanup efforts.
If everyone involved with the removal of the bridge runs into a few roadblocks or fall behind, you wouldn't be able to get ships through to Fort McHenry and other locations in/around Baltimore. But, if the bridge is removed and so is the ship, it begs the question where new bridge pieces would be fabricated...

Does anyone have any information on what day the flyover will be? And I'm also hoping for a demo and not just a flyover but in my experience normally when it says there's a demo, they'll normally do some sort of show, not just a quick pass or two. So hoping for an actual demo from the F35B.

I would think the weekend days are fair game for anything.skoutzyy13 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2024 6:09 pm Does anyone have any information on what day the flyover will be? A demo would need sterilized airspace, and it makes me think where these Key Bridge salvage cranes would be in relation to wherever show center would be for this. Maybe they stage out of Martin State Airport?
As for my earlier comment, the most recent news on bridge removal is that everyone involved is working towards getting the main shipping channel cleared by May 31. They're working around the clock to get this done to get the Port of Baltimore reopened.
