Aeroshell Aerobatic Team rebranding?

Post by ItsCreeperPlay » Tue Oct 10, 2023 3:22 pm

So I was looking over the 2024 ICAS calendar and noticed that listed under various shows were the "Titan Aerobatic Team". I clicked on the hyperlink and it goes to Aeroshell's website. Are they losing the Aeroshell Sponser or just changing name? Or maybe theres something I'm missing

Titan Aviation Fuel has rebranded all of its AeroShell/Shell Aviation network into its own, independent network.

The product of AeroShell will continue, I think the FBO/fueling network just changed. Product line is still available. So it all depends on who was in charge of the sponsorship contract (or maybe it was just time for a change)

For what its worth, either the name was entered prematurely or they were considering making a change as AeroShell is back on the ICAS database.

No matter who sponsors the act, it'll be the same great show.

Hopefully they keep their current livery. It's one of the prettiest schemes on any display team, civil or military.

Well, I'll miss the old scheme, but the graphics on the site look pretty sharp! Guess I'll have to wait until Dayton to judge :D

Glad the paint schemes are basically the same. One of the best schemes on the airshow circuit!

A great article written by EAA on November 10, 2023, about the AeroShell Aerobatic Team's name change.
