this is incredible news! The Frecce Tricolori gracing North America is a rare treat. Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force and celebrating historic milestones in the U.S. makes it even more special. Can't wait to witness the iconic red, white, and green trails across the skies!

Here are the stars of the 64th acrobatic season of the Tricolor Arrows

The new Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Massimiliano Salvatore, Pony 0.

The key positions of Pony 1 (head of training) and Pony 6 (leader of the 2nd section) see Major Pierluigi Raspa and Major Franco Paolo Morocco confirmed.

The solo role will be entrusted to Pony 10, Major Federico De Cecco.

Confirmed Captain Leonardo Leo with the role of first right gregario, Pony 3.

Captain Luca Pozzani becomes Pony 2, Captain Alessandro Sommariva Pony 4, Captain Simone Fanfarillo Pony 5, Captain Giovanni Morello
Pony 8 and Major Oscar Del Do' Pony 9.

The new entry to the formation is Captain Emanuele Bernuzzi, who will fly in the position of Pony 7, third left Gregorian.

That's a Wednesday. Doubt that will be a public event. Perhaps they meant NAS Oceana, September 21, but I don't think so. Mystery for now.

I still don't get that break in the middle of August.

But on a lighter note, we might be adding another trip to see them. Haven't decided on where just yet.

Most likely crew rest. They've put together a grueling schedule and that gap is around a week before they head back to Italy, where they have a sizeable number of shows remaining.

They've earned it.
