The Frecce Tricolori, Italy’s national aerobatic display team, are coming to perform in the United States and Canada next year!

Rumors have swirled for months that one or more international jet teams would be performing in North America in 2024, and the Italian military recently confirmed their intention to send the team here next summer. Several announcements during the International Council of Air Shows convention this week have now filled in the first details to the Italian’s tour plans.

Three airshows have already announced appearances by the Frecce Tricolori, spanning late June to late August, and more stops on the tour should become known very soon.

This is the Frecce’s first visit to North America in over 30 years, so it is a very special treat for US and Canadian airshow fans. It is very likely that other international teams will come to North America in 2024 as well, particularly to help celebrate the Royal Canadian Air Force’s 100th anniversary.
